Dies ist ein anderes Layout, welches ich heute gemacht habe. Es ist für die neueste Challenge von Scrap Africa. Ich habe weiße grobe Strukturpaste verwendet, um das Foto einzurahmen, einige hölzerne Embellishments, und ein Paar echte gestrickte Handschuhe. Da ich immer sehr kritisch mit meiner eigenen Arbeit bin, werde ich mich wohl noch ein zweites Mal an dieses Layout wagen ...

Paris Girl

Today I was very creative – I managed four layouts. Great to have a day off! Admittedly, not all layouts are equally “good”, but that´s what I came up with today. The first layout is called PARIS GIRL and is a collage, following the Scrap it Lift it Sketch 20 for January.  I had the Paris photo on my desk for a few weeks now and I could not come up with any layout for it, until I saw this challenge and thought it was the ideal photo to scrap.

Hoy estuve muy creativa – hice cuatro layouts. Es genial tener un día libre. La verdad es que no todos los layouts son igual de bonitos, pero esto es lo que conseguí hoy. El primer layout se llama PARIS GIRL siguiendo el sketch de Scrap it Lift it 20 para enero. La foto de Paris la tenía en mi mesa durante semanas y no sabía que hacer con ella hasta hoy!

Heute war ich sehr kreativ und habe vier Layouts geschafft. Klasse, mal wieder einen freien Tag zu haben. Klar sind nicht alle Layouts gleich schön, aber das ist das, was ich heute vollendet habe. Das erste Layout heißt PARTY GIRL und ist eine Collage, die ich zum Sketch von Scrap it Lift it 20 erstellt habe. Das Parisfoto hatte ich schon wochenlang auf meinem Tisch liegen ohne eigentlich zu wissen, was ich damit machen sollte – bis heute!

I am always trying to discover new scrapbooking blogs. Today I came across ONCE UPON A ... SKETCH. Their december challenge runs under the theme "It´s December" which is open to a lot of interpretations. Furthermore, there is a sketch that needs to be followed. Here is what I came up with, I might give it another try if I find more time.

Siempre estoy descubriendo nuevos blogs de scrapbooking. Hoy paré en un blog que se llama ONCE UPON A ... SKETCH. Tienen un reto para el mes de diciembre titulado "It´s December". Esto lo puedes interpretar como quieras. También hay una plantilla que hay que seguir. Esto es lo que hice hoy; a lo mejor tengo tiempo para hacer un segundo layout.

Ich bin immer auf der Suche nach neuen Scrapbooking Blogs. Heute stieß ich zufällig auf den Blog ONCE UPON A ... SKETCH. Im Dezember lautet die Challenge "It´s December", ein Thema, das man vielseitig gestalten kann. Es gibt auch eine Vorlage, an die man sich halten muß. Hier ist mein Layout; vielleicht habe ich ja noch etwas Zeit, um ein zweites Layout zu gestalten.

White Christmas

We are back from our Christmas holiday break. I took soooo many photos and can’t wait to scrap some of them. For years I’ve had all those embellishments that needed “real snow” photos, and now that I have the photos all I need is  t i m e  !!! I’ll let you catch a glimpse of one of the photos – stunning, isn’t it? We had a real white Christmas this year! In a few days you will find the scrapped result here!

Estamos de vuelta de nuestras vacaciones cortas de navidad. Saqué tantas tantas fotos y ahora quiero hacer unos layout con algunas. Desde hace años tengo estos embellishments que necesitan fotos con mucha nieve y ahora todo lo que necesito es   t i e m p o !! Os dejo echar in vistazo a una de las fotos – impresionante, no? Hemos tenido unas navidades blancas este año! Dentro de unos días podeis ver el layout con la foto aquí.

Wir sind zurück von unserem Weihnachtskurzurlaub. Ich habe sooooo viele Fotos gemacht, daß ich es fast gar nicht mehr erwarten kann, einige davon zu verscrappen. Seit Jahren habe ich all diese Embellishments im Bastelregal, für die man Fotos mit „richtigem“ Schnee braucht. Jetzt, da ich diese Fotos habe, brauche ich nur noch   Z e i t  !!! Aber ich lasse euch schon mal einen Blick auf eins der Fotos werfen – beeindruckend, oder? Wir hatten dieses Jahr eine weiße Weihnacht! In ein paar Tagen könnt ihr hier mein Scrapresultat mit diesem Foto sehen.

This layout won me a small prize

One of the previous editions of “Die Scrapperin” featured an article about fonts and layouts using fonts. Readers were encouraged to create a layout using fonts and sending it in. That’s exactly what I did and in the latest edition I found my name printed on the last page as the winner for a prize for my layout. Here is a photo of the layout and the prize! Thank you Janna!

Una de las últimas revistas de “Die Scrapperin” tenía un articulo sobre letras y como usarlas en un layout. Pidieron a los lectores que creasen sus layouts respetando el tema de las letras. In einer der letzten Ausgaben der „Die Scrapperin“ gab einen Artikel über Buchstaben/arten und Layouts mit Buchstaben. Es wurde dazu aufgerufen, ein Layout zu diesem Thema zu erstellen und einzuschicken. Das habe ich getan. Recently I have discovered the Scrap Africa blog with a lot of nice layouts and challenges. The first one I participated I did submit too late, so this time I am on time! Here is my layout of  Challenge # 12 by Scrap Africa - the layot needs to include a film strip. I used an old photo of my grandma and mom for this layout.

Hace poco encontré el blog de Scrap Africa con muchos layouts muy bonitos y con retos. El primer reto lo envié demasiado tarde, pero esta vez lo hice con mucho tiempo! Acabo de terminar mi layout para  Challenge # 12 - tiene que incluir película de los tiempos de fotografía no digital. Usé una foto vieja de mi abuela y mi madre para el layout.

Vor noch gar nicht so langer Zeit habe ich den Blog Srap Africa entdeckt, der viele schöne Layouts und Challenges beinhaltet. Beim letzten Mal habe ich mein Layout zu spät hochgeladen, aber dieses Mal habe ich es rechtzeitig geschafft. Ich habe mal direkt das neue Thema der Challenge # 12 umgesetzt - es musste einen Negativstreifen enthalten. Dazu habe ich ein altes Foto meiner Oma und Mutter verwendet.

Paris in the rain

Christmas 1974

This is my latest layout ... Christmas 1974. All in grey, mint, light pink and red. See the embossed white paper? And the red paper is really velvety, soft to the touch. Today the light wasn´t good when taking the photo, so maybe you cannot really appreciate the colors well.

Mi último layout ... Navidades de 1974. Los colores principales son gris, menta, rosa, y rojo. Ves la estructura del pápel blanco? El el pápel rojo es como seda, muy agradable. Hoy no había buena luz cuando saqué la foto, a lo mejor no se aprecian bien los colores.

Dies ist mein neuestes Layout. Die Farben sind in Grau, Mint, Hellrosa und Rot gehalten. Erkennt ihr die Struktur (Embossing) des weissen Papiers? Und das rote Papier ist wie Samt, richtig weich, wenn man mit dem Finger darueber streicht. Heute war das Licht beim Fotografieren nicht so gut, vielleicht kommen die Farben daher nicht ganz so gut zur Geltung.

Scrapbook 365 Magazine February

And this is a layout I submitted to 365 Magazine for this month. I called the title "133" because I took 133 photos of my daughter to get the "one" picture I was looking for (which I did not get in the end:)).

Und dies ist das Layout, welches ich nach dem Februar Sketch des 365 Magazines erstellt habe. Ich habe 133 Fotos meiner Tochter gemacht um das eine Foto zu bekommen, was ich haben wollte (was ich am Ende dann doch nicht hatte:)).

Y esto es el layout que he hecho para el 365 Magazine. Saqué 133 fotos de mi hija para conseguir esta fotos que estaba buscando. Y al final, no me salió:)).

Sketchladies February Sketch

This month part of the Sketchladies' challenge was to use patterned paper for the background, at least three different punches, and to make it shiny (use glitter). I used glitter both by applying glue for glitter and choosing the glitter that I wanted for the flower centers, and using silver glitter embossing on the stamped items. I used border punches and shape punches (butterflies, large and small hearts) and corner punches.

Diesen Monat sollte man bei den Sketchladies PP für den Hintergrund verwenden, mindestens 3 Stanzer und Glitter benutzen. Ich habe Flitterkleber für den Glitter in den Blumen verwendet, sowie glitzerndes Embossingpuder bei den gestempelten Dekos. Ich habe Bordürenstanzer eingesetzt, Motivstanzer (Schmetterlinge, große und kleine Herzchen) und Eckenstanzer.

Este mes para el sketch de los Sketchladies hay que usar PP para el fondo, 3 diferentes "punches" y purpurina. Usé pegamento para purpurina y purpurina para los centros de las flores y también embossing con pururina. Usé varios "punches" como de mariposas y corazones grandes y pequeños.

Sketchladies #1

Mein Layout zum Sketch #1 der Sketchladies. Ein LO ganz ohne Patterned Paper, nur mit Stempeln und Washi Tape. Den Hintergrund habe ich mit einer Doodling Schablone aufgestempelt und mit verschiedenen Embossing Powders und Glitter Glue etwas Farbe und Struktur heineingebracht. Der Rest sind entweder gekaufte Washi Tapes oder selbstgemachte - ja, das ist möglich. Ich habe eine Rolle Masking Tape von Glue Dots genommen (vermutlich geht das auch mit herkömmlichen Tapetenklebeband) und dieses einfach bestempelt. Man sieht einfach keinen Unterschied. Gescheitert bin ich dann nur beim Embossing, das ist beim Abziehen des Masking Tapes von meiner Arbeitsunterlage alles wieder abgebröselt. Versuch macht klug!

This is my layout for the first sketch by the Sketchladies. A layout without patterned paper, only stamps and washi tape. I stamped the background using a doodling template and gave it color and structure by using different embossing powders and glitter glue. The rest are either bought or self-made washi tapes. Yes, it is possible to make your own. I simple took a Glue Dot masking tape and stamped on it. Super result. Only applying embossing poweder didn't work out, when peeling the masking tape off my work mat all the embossing peeled off ... well,  at least I  tried! Here is my layout.

Esto es mi layout siguiendo la primera plantilla de enero de los Sketchladies. Es un  layout sin patterned paper, sólo stamps y washi tape. Hice el fondo usando una plantilla para doodling. Con embossing powder y glitter glue (pegamento de purpurina) conseguí un fondo colorido y con estructura. El resto son washi tapes comprados o hechos por mi. Sí, es posible. Use un masking tape de Glue Dots y apliqué unos sellos - y voilà, tu proprio masking tape. Sólo aplicando embossing powder resultó imposible, al quitar el masking tape de mi área de trabajo todo el embossing se cayó. Por lo menos lo intenté! Aquí está el resultado:

This is the layout I submitted to Scrap365Magazine for their January sketch. This was a real challenge and I started all over again a few times. Actually, the first layout was very different and I submitted it to ScrapArtZine for their black and white LO requests.
